In this talk, Thomas and Antoine will share the following applications of remote sensing in urban areas:a.Vegetation in very high resolution images with CNN: application to satellite and aerial images in Rennes and Paris;b.Characterizing urban morphology change: application to the monitoring of Beijing old city's dynamics from 1966 to 2015;c.Monitoring urban sprawl at national/European scale: application to France based SPOT and LANSDAT mission archives from 1985 to 2015. 

主讲人简介

Thomas Corpetti is Senior Researcher at CNRS who is interested in remote sensing image processing for environmental applications. He received his PhD degree from University of Rennes in 2002. He has been working in Beijing (LIAMA, French lab in computer sciences and applied mathematics).
